i4Siri: Legal Siri Port On iPhone 4 In Works (VIDEO)

Couple of days back, we’ve informed you that MuscleNerd posted that the new iOS 5.1 version seeded by Apple to the iPhone 4S makes Siri port to the iPhone 4 legal. Today, we’ve got some great news (via JailbreakNation) for you; some developers are currently working on a new method known as “i4Siri” to bring Siri port on iPhone 4 in a legal way.

The project i4siri is going to bring Siri to older devices running iOS 5 through some Cydia tweaks and utilities. These devices include iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. Other devices will be supported later. Theoretically, it can be used on iPhone 3GS but no confirmations yet.
@MrAjsTech with @leftyfl1p could be able to legally port Siri on iPhone 4 and they showed off a video teaser before the release:
They currently need donations to create proxy servers so that they can do the port.
Last status from the developers:
Last night I spent quite come time working on a script that will auto generate the necessary Siri certificates. This will allow for easy 4S key grabbing. This script should be released soon. The next step is to release a tool that will help users install a GUI and then we will release our auth keys cydia tweak.
Looking forward to see this real. Stay tuned!

The long term goal will be getting the Siri proxy server fully up and running. We thank everyone for your generous donations. We hope to be able to purchase the server after Christmas (The server company is on break). We are on Christmas break from school so that means that we will have a lot of time to spend working on this port.

[UPDATE] Please watch the video below.
Yesterday @leftyfl1p finally got siri to work for himself. We spent hours attempting to get his Siri port working on his iPhone 4 using his Dad’s iPhone 4S’s keys. This is the next step in getting a proxy server to work. Now that both of us have a device that is authed with the apple servers we can start spending more time working with a proxy server.
I have also been working on getting Siri to work on my 8GB iPod Touch 4G. So far it has been trouble getting it work. The pictures below describe the problems. Basically it would auth with apple servers but not print out and information from siri. This is typically the dyld_cache_armv7 file problem but the iPod Touch 8GB did not have enough space on the iPhone OS partition. We hope to be able to work around this
